Lander & Rogers launches new LawTech Hub in partnership with YBF Ventures


With technology changing the legal landscape and the way legal services are delivered, contemporary Australian law firm Lander & Rogers is excited to be pioneering Australia's first LawTech Hub of its kind.

The LawTech Hub has two intakes per year: March and September. Applications are currently open for March 2019.

In its inaugural year, the Lander & Rogers LawTech Hub will focus on solutions that centre primarily on:

  • Blockchain

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Smart contracts

  • Predictive analytics

  • Automation and robotics

  • Smart connectivity platforms

  • A legal sector issue requiring an innovative tech solution 


About You

We are looking for Australia’s best and brightest innovators and entrepreneurs to join the Lander & Rogers LawTech Hub.

To be eligible to join the hub, you need to:

  1. Have a compelling use case that is relevant to the LawTech Hub’s main themes. If you are unsure, reach out and start a conversation.

  2. Have a working solution that is in market or has gone through an accelerator or incubator program.

  3. Have either secured seed funding or successfully raised a round of funding (Series A only).

  4. Have a diverse team of up to four with a strong skill balance and depth.

The Application Process

The LawTech Hub has two intakes per year: March and September.

The March 2019 intake is now open for applications.

How selection works:

18th February: Applications open

18th March: Interviews with shortlisted companies commence

21st March: Finalists are notified

25th March: Selection Days (face-to-face meeting with selection team)

28th March: Winners announced

Part of the selection process is YBF Fast Track where especially strong teams are accelerated directly through to the Selection Days.
